Bring Groceries Ahead to your market
Concierge grocery delivery, ready to scale.
We partner with operators to expand
Groceries Ahead has been the premier concierge grocery delivery service in coastal South Carolina since 2003. We deliver guests’ full grocery orders to their vacation rentals and put everything away β pantry, fridge, and freezer β before they walk in the door. Today we operate in Charleston, Myrtle Beach, and Hilton Head. We’re now exploring partnerships to bring this service to additional markets.
If you operate in a vacation, resort, or second-home market β or you’re an entrepreneur looking for a turn-key local service to build β we’d love to talk.
How partnerships work
We’re intentionally flexible. Markets vary, and a service that works in a 12-month tourism economy looks different than one supporting a 4-month ski season. We offer two general partnership tracks, scaled to fit the market:
Licensed local operator
For smaller markets and individual operators, we license our brand, technology, and operating playbook. You run the local business β drivers, delivery logistics, guest relationships, partner outreach. We provide the platform: customer-facing site, ordering infrastructure, catalog and pricing tools, training, and ongoing brand support. Designed to be operable by a small team or a single committed founder.
Operating partnership
For larger or multi-market opportunities, we work with operators on a profit-sharing basis. We participate in the local operation more directly, share in the revenue, and align on growth. This track works well for established hospitality or service companies expanding into grocery delivery, or for operators with multi-market ambitions.
Either way, the goal is the same: bring concierge grocery delivery to a market that doesn’t have it, with a proven operating model behind it.
Markets we’re evaluating
We’re actively considering partnerships in:
- Coastal vacation markets (Outer Banks, 30A, Gulf Shores, Cape Cod, the Hamptons)
- Mountain and ski resort markets (Park City, Vail, Aspen, Stowe, Asheville)
- High-volume second-home markets (Sea Island, Kiawah-adjacent, Lake Tahoe, Lake of the Ozarks)
If your market isn’t on this list but has a real vacation rental or second-home economy, we’d still like to hear from you.
What we look for in a partner
The strongest partnerships involve operators with at least one of the following:
- Existing relationships with vacation rental property managers in their market
- Operational experience in hospitality, retail, or service delivery
- Local knowledge β markets, neighborhoods, seasonality, the rental property ecosystem
- A specific commitment to be hands-on in the first 12-18 months
You don’t need a grocery background. You don’t need to be a private equity firm. You do need to be willing to operate β and to make a meaningful investment in your local market: time, resources, and an ongoing commitment.
